DOCUMENTATION
A valid passport is required. Visas' can be obtained at all points of entry and at embassies. Insurance: It is strongly advised that you take out fully comprehensive insurance including death, medical expense, injury, delays, loss and damage to property. Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. will not be held responsible for any such claims.

Booking Conditions

Deposits
A 30% deposit is required on booking.

Payments
You will be invoiced upon making a reservation and full payment is due on your date of departure. Payment is accepted as follows: 1) Send by a service such as Western Union 2) Wire Transfer to our Tanzanian bank account (contact us for details). Your balance shall be paid the day before your departure.

Cancellation and Refunds
Notification of cancellation must be made in an e-mail or by a phone call to Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. At the time we receive the cancellation, all moneys will be refunded less the following cancellation charges, deducted from the total package price.

• 60 days before departure: no penalty, except if any costs have already been incurred (such as hotel bookings).
• 30 days before departure: 25% of deposit
• 14 days before departure: 50% of deposit
• 7 days or less before departure: 100 % of the package price

You may also be responsible for any fees imposed by hotels, airlines etc., over and above your land arrangements, due to your cancellation of your original date bookings.

Please note that no partial refunds will be given for unused meals, hotel rooms, airport transfers etc., for any reason whatsoever.

Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. reserves the right to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, currency fluctuations, park fees increases or fuel surcharges. Hartebeest Safaris Ltd.. reserves the right to alter the tour without notice. Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the trip (e.g. non-refundable advance purchase air tickets, visa fees, equipment, etc.) or for any necessary additional travel arrangements should your guests embark from home before the group departure date. Accommodations are subject to change. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance.

Liability
Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. and its agents act as agents of the passenger in all matters relating to tours, accommodations, bookings, transport, etc., and accept no responsibility for any injury, delays, illness, loss or damage in any manner. Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. will not be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any valuables and while all adventures involve an element of personal risk we strongly advise that you take an insurance cover for personal accidents, medical expenses as well as valuables. These can be arranged at time of booking at a relatively low cost.
