 Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. is a private company engaged in the tourism industry. It is fully registered and licensed by the Tourist Agents Licensing Authority of the Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources. And is a member of TATO (Tanzania Association of Tour Operators). Hartebeest is owned and managed by Mr. Lazarus. His experience in Travel & Tourism operations, and that of the rest of the staff is extensive.
The company maintains specially prepared safari vehicles (Land Rover, Land Cruisers, and minibuses), some of which accommodate 8 persons. Our vehicles are comfortable, have opening sun-shaded roofs for clear game viewing and photography convenience. All vehicles are are equipped with HF Radios to facilitate smooth inter-vehicle and Arusha base communication.
We service all vehicles before and after every safari to make certain your journey will go off without a hitch. 
Our Driver Guides:
We employ only the most experienced and professional guides who stand out in their field. They speak fluent English, French, Spanish, German, and of course Kiswahili which is widely spoken here in Tanzania. Our mountain guides have extensive knowledge and experience in trekking and climbing to most location and on the majority of routes.
